Product Description

The SICK WL100-2P4429 is a compact, high-performance retro-reflective photoelectric sensor designed for reliable object detection in industrial automation applications. It uses visible red LED light and a reflector to detect objects passing through its sensing area. The sensor is particularly suitable for detecting transparent objects when used with the specified PL80A reflector.

The sensor emits a light beam toward a reflector and receives the reflected light back. When an object interrupts or sufficiently changes the returning light, the sensor switches its PNP output to signal the object's presence. Its compact housing, fast response time of up to 0.5 ms, and switching frequency of 1,000 Hz make it suitable for high-speed production and packaging lines.

The WL100-2P4429 operates on a 10–30 V DC supply and features adjustable sensitivity, selectable light/dark switching, an M8 four-pin connector, and IP67 enclosure protection. Its small dimensions allow easy installation in space-constrained machinery. The sensor is supplied with a mounting bracket and P250 reflector.
