Description

The SICK MZC1-2V2PS-KU0 is a compact magnetic cylinder sensor designed for reliable piston position detection in C-slot pneumatic cylinders. It provides fast and accurate position monitoring for industrial automation and machine control applications. The sensor features a PNP, Normally Open (NO) switching output and a simple DC 3-wire connection, making it easy to integrate with standard control systems.

With a 10–30 V DC supply voltage and switching frequency of up to 1,000 Hz, the MZC1 delivers reliable and rapid switching performance. Its compact 23.7 mm housing makes it suitable for installations where space is limited. The sensor can be used with compatible cylinder types including SMC CDQ2 and ECDQ2 rails, round-body cylinders, profile cylinders and tie-rod cylinders.

The MZC1-2V2PS-KU0 is designed for demanding industrial environments. It provides IP68 and IP69K protection, along with reverse-polarity and short-circuit protection for dependable operation. An integrated LED indicator provides clear visual status indication. The sensor uses magnetic detection with a typical sensitivity of 2.2 mT and offers a typical overrun distance of 4 mm.
